SC Premier of “The Wedding Mass” by Dr. Timothy Powell

The Lexington County Choral Society will be performing the South Carolina Premier of “The Wedding Mass” by Dr. Timothy Michael Powell. This is a sparkling new work that will thrill you! Can you believe we have the unique opportunity to present the SC Premier of this beautiful new work?!? What an extraordinary opportunity for us as a choir and for you as a listener. What makes it even more special is having as our guest conductor the composer of this work, Dr. Timothy Michael Powell. Tim finished his doctorate in Choral conducting at the University of South Carolina in 2004. He and his wife Jennifer live in North Augusta, SC with their daughter Lily, dog Wolfy "Amadeus" and their cat Clara "Schumann". He is the Director of Choral Activities at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, GA and Director of the Davidson Chorale. You can read more about him in this newsletter.
